Volunteer

Email us with the subject “Interested Volunteer” to get added to our volunteer list serve in order to RSVP for packing sessions. We meet on Tuesday evenings and once or twice a month on Saturdays, and we hope to have more opportunities soon.

Packing session info:

Masks heavily sugggested; we have masks available. Don’t come if you’re feeling sick. 

We will do a training on how to pack at the beginning of every session, so plan to arrive by on time it is your first time.

The basement is down one flight of stairs. Sometimes we enter through the basement hatch, but if the bookstore is open we enter through the bookstore’s front door. There is a bathroom in the bookstore. The space is cramped and dusty. We will have two HEPA filters and dehumidifiers running. It’s next to a bus stop and a citi-bike dock. ~15 min walk from Bergen St F+G stop.

Unfortunately, we are unable to allow minors in our basement packing space.
