End of Year Fundraiser

November 12, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us on November 12 at 7pm for a screening of Let the Fire Burn, about the events leading up to and surrounding the 1985 standoff between the black liberation group MOVE and the Philadelphia Police Department. We will hear from one of the incarcerated members of MOVE afterwards.

The event will be held at The Commons Brooklyn (388 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY), accessible by the Atlantic Terminal (2, 3, 4, 5, N, Q, R, B, and D trains).

The suggested donation at the door is $5-$20. All proceeds go toward postage to send free books to people in prison.

The evening will also include a raffle, with prizes from AK Press, Verso Books, Lift Floats (sensory deprivation/flotation center), Aperture Magazine, and Birds of Lace press. More prizes will be announced soon, so stay tuned! One raffle ticket will be $2 and three tickets will be $5.
